Chair and Ottoman Sets

A good chair gets better with somewhere to put your feet. This collection brings together lounge chairs that come with a matching ottoman, for the corner of a bedroom, a reading nook by the window, or the quiet end of a living room.

Some are made to order. The Edith Lounge Chair, the Noelle Linen Armchair and the Karu Chair by Dagmar can each be ordered alone or as a set with the ottoman, in linen, velvet, bouclé, mohair or sheepskin. Others are vintage sets with real design history: Le Bambole by Mario Bellini, Soriana by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Cassina, Marius by Mario Marenco for Arflex, Straccio by De Pas, D'Urbino and Lomazzi for Zanotta, and Sunset by Christophe Pillet for Cappellini.

Where a chair and ottoman works best

Bedroom corner. A single upholstered chair with an ottoman turns an empty corner into a place to read or dress, and the ottoman can hold a tray or a stack of books.

Reading nook. A deep seat, a soft back and a footrest at the right height are what make a nook somewhere you actually stay.

Living room. A chair and ottoman can stand in for a chaise, giving you a place to stretch out without the length of a daybed.

Can I buy the chair without the ottoman?
Yes. Edith, Noelle and Karu are offered with or without the ottoman. Vintage sets are sold together.

Can I use my own fabric?
Edith, Noelle and Karu can be upholstered in your own material (COM).
