High-backed and deeply grounded, this monolithic dark wood armchair brings a strong, almost throne-like presence to a living room or study through shadow and an uncompromising silhouette. The tall back rises well above the arms, giving the chair an enveloping character and making it feel substantial even when viewed from across the room. Set beside a low table or left with breathing room around it, the chair can anchor a corner and give the surrounding furniture greater definition. Its appeal lies in the confidence of the whole object, a seat that feels private and weighty while remaining simple enough to live with every day.
