Among Ancient Trees II by Aimée Adriaansen

Dusty red fills the background of this muted botanical wall artwork, allowing two pale masses of foliage to emerge from opposite sides and create a richly colored exchange across the center. The irregular leaf shapes feel softened and painterly, so the trees register as remembered silhouettes rather than carefully described specimens. That red ground gives the work unusual warmth, making it a strong choice for a living room or bedroom where art can carry the color story instead of textiles or accessories. The open gap between the two tree masses becomes as important as the foliage itself, creating distance and connection within one compact scene.
