Gentle Skies by Aimée Adriaansen

Pale sky occupies most of this airy green landscape artwork, giving the distant shoreline below a sense of openness that feels especially soothing in bedrooms, hallways or smaller living areas. The land sits low in the image, softened into faint green-gray bands that seem to recede far beyond the edge of the frame. Because so much of the surface is devoted to atmosphere, the piece feels spacious despite its narrow shape, bringing a subtle sense of height and distance to the wall. It carries the freshness of an overcast morning viewed from far away, when the landscape is present but softened enough to feel half alive.
