A pair of solid cherrywood lounge chairs by Paolo Buffa, 1940s, with sinuous armrests running into the front legs and open side panels of intersecting diamond motifs.
The carved front rail undulates gently along its length. Professionally restored, hand-finished in shellac and newly upholstered in off-white cotton with tailored piping.
They sit well in a living room, a library, or a wide bedroom.
