Richly worked glass meets brass in this pair of wall lights, designed by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors in the 1970s. Irregular crystalline forms and softly undulating edges catch and refract light when illuminated, casting delicate reflections and shadow across the wall behind each fixture. Star shaped brass fixing buttons mark the front of each diffuser, a small geometric flourish set against the organic character of the glass, while original Orrefors labels remain intact on the reverse of each piece. A confidently authenticated example of Fagerlund's sculptural approach to Scandinavian lighting.
