A pair of cup-shaped Venini sconces by Carlo Scarpa, 1940s, hand-blown in clear Murano glass and wrapped in his reticello lattice of fine white lattimo threads.

The restrained proportions put all the emphasis on the glasswork, which throws soft geometric reflections when lit. Original brass mounts with natural patina; rewired to US standards.

A good pair for a bedroom, a powder room, or a narrow hall.
