A pair of hand-worked Murano glass sconces by Ercole Barovier, 1930s, with thick cup-shaped diffusers carrying bold leaf relief outside and a dense diamond pattern within.

The two patterns work against each other and fragment the light in every direction. Period brass mounts of restrained Art Deco character; rewired to US standards.

They suit a dining room, a hallway, or a bedroom.
