Attributed to Carlo Scarpa for Venini around 1940, this pair of sconces showcases his celebrated Mezzo Diamante surface, one of the most distinctive textures to emerge from his early years at the furnace. Deep diagonal ribs cut through the thick hand-blown crystal, creating an ever-shifting play of light and shadow across each diffuser. Though cast from the same model, the two shades reveal subtle differences in pattern and profile, a natural signature of the hand-blown process that only reinforces their authenticity. Wedge-shaped brass brackets, softened by decades of natural patina, ground the sculptural glass in quiet architectural contrast.
