Slender lines of metal weave an irregular, open grid across the back, sides and base of this sculptural gilt metal bench, punctuated by delicate spiral details that give it rhythm and charm. An aged gilded finish adds warmth and patina, while a softly upholstered seat brings comfort to the expressive frame. Its high back and enclosed sides create a striking silhouette that still feels light and airy. Equally at home in an entry, living room or bedroom, it’s as much a decorative object as a place to sit, with the presence of a true one-off.
A Design by Malata Antwerp.
