Rarely documented and seldom seen on the market, the Model 1222 wall light by Elio Martinelli for Martinelli Luce is offered here as a complete matching set of three, a genuine find for collectors of Italian Radical and Space Age design. Each fixture pairs a large hemispherical diffuser in glossy white plexiglass with a concentric ribbed reflector, its restrained geometry striking whether lit or dark. Designed to face upward for a soft indirect wash of light, the fixtures can also be reversed for a more direct glow, adapting readily to different architectural settings. Sourced from former Martinelli Luce warehouse stock and never installed, this set preserves its original finish as an authentic New Old Stock example of an elusive model.
