A solid walnut working desk by Ignazio Gardella, Milan, 1950, its thick plate-glass top floating above splayed trestles to expose a suspended drawer unit and hexagonal brass junctions.
The structure is left visible and does the decorative work on its own. Original brass patina, with traces of paint inside the drawers.
It holds a study, a home office, or a library wall.
