A long upholstered seat floating above chamfered legs gives this tailored Danish modern bench a graceful usefulness that works at the foot of a bed, beneath a window or along an entry wall. Kai Kristiansen’s signature leg treatment introduces a subtle cut to the wood that sharpens the silhouette and gives the base a distinctive sense of lift. Originally designed in 1956, the piece brings authentic Danish modern character to the everyday acts of putting on shoes, setting down a bag or offering someone another place to sit.
A Design by Dagmar.
