Claude Home (“Claude Home,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you visit claudehome.com, create an account, make a purchase, or otherwise interact with us.
Claude Home operates as both a curated retailer and dropshipper of designer furniture, lighting, and home goods sourced from independent artists and studios worldwide, and as a manufacturer and direct seller of its own proprietary furniture products. This dual role affects how we handle your data, as described below.
By accessing or using our website or services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our website and services.
1. Scope and Applicability
This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information we process in connection with our website, mobile experiences, customer accounts, purchases, and communications. It applies regardless of your location. Where applicable, jurisdiction-specific addenda appear in Section 13 below.
Claude Home is the data controller for information collected through our direct channels. When acting as a dropshipper, Claude Home transmits customer order and fulfillment information to third-party suppliers and manufacturers. Those suppliers may act as independent data controllers with respect to the information they receive; we recommend reviewing their privacy practices.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
We collect information you voluntarily provide when you:
- Create or update a customer account
- Place an order or make a purchase
- Submit a contact, inquiry, or trade account request
- Subscribe to marketing emails or SMS communications

4. Sharing of Personal Information
Claude Home does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information for monetary consideration. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
4.1 Dropshipping and Manufacturing Partners
When you purchase a product that is fulfilled through our dropshipping model, we transmit your name, shipping address, and order details to the relevant third-party supplier or manufacturer to fulfill your order. These suppliers receive only the information necessary for fulfillment and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose. When you purchase a Claude Home manufactured product, we handle fulfillment internally.
4.2 Service Providers
We share information with trusted vendors who assist us in operating our business, including:
- Ecommerce platform (Shopify)
- Payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Shop Pay)
- Shipping and logistics providers
- Email and SMS marketing platforms
- Analytics and advertising providers (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Pixel)
- Customer support and helpdesk platforms
- Fraud detection and security services
All service providers are contractually required to process personal information only on our behalf, for the purposes we specify, and to maintain appropriate security measures.
4.3 Business Transfers
In connection with a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or other corporate transaction, your information may be transferred to a successor entity. We will notify you via email or a prominent website notice if such a transfer materially changes how your information is used.
4.4 Legal Disclosure

Claude Home is based in the United States. If you are located outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. and potentially in other countries where our service providers operate. For transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission or equivalent mechanisms. - Customer account information: retained for the duration of your active account plus 3 years after account closure

- Website analytics data: retained per our service providers’ standard retention schedules (typically 14–26 months)
When retention periods expire, we securely delete or anonymize personal information. You may request earlier deletion subject to applicable legal requirements.

9. U.S. State-Specific Privacy Rights
9.1 California (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- Right to Know: You may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for which it is used, and the categories of third parties with whom it is shared.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing: We do not sell your personal information for money. However, some of our advertising and analytics activities may constitute “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under CPRA. You may opt out by clicking “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in our website footer, or by submitting a request to hello@claudehome.com.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: You may request that we limit our use of sensitive personal information to purposes permitted by the CPRA.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA/CPRA rights.

9.2 Virginia (VCDPA)
Virginia residents have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of their personal data, and to opt out of the processing of personal data for targeted advertising, sale of personal data, and profiling for significant decisions. Submit requests to hello@claudehome.com. You may appeal a denied request by contacting us and, if unresolved, file a complaint with the Virginia Attorney General.
9.3 Colorado (CPA)
Colorado residents have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and profiling. Submit requests to hello@claudehome.com. You may appeal denied requests; if unresolved, you may contact the Colorado Attorney General.
9.4 Connecticut (CTDPA)
Connecticut residents have the right to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of their personal data, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and profiling for significant decisions. Submit requests to hello@claudehome.com. You may appeal denied requests to us and, if unresolved, to the Connecticut Attorney General.
9.5 Utah (UCPA)
Utah residents have rights under the Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA), effective December 31, 2023, including the right to access, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, and to opt out of the sale of personal data and targeted advertising. Submit requests to hello@claudehome.com.
9.6 Rhode Island (DTPPA)
Rhode Island residents have rights under the Data Transparency and Privacy Protection Act (DTPPA), effective January 1, 2026, including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of personal data, and to opt out of the sale of personal data and targeted advertising. 9.7 Texas (TDPSA), Oregon (OCPA), Montana (MCDPA), Delaware (DPDPA), New Jersey (NJDPA), Nebraska (NDPA), Minnesota (MHRA), Tennessee (TIPA), Indiana (IDPL), Kentucky (KCDPA), Maryland (MODPA), Iowa (ICDPA), New Hampshire (NHDPA)
Residents of the states listed above have privacy rights under their respective state laws that may include the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of personal data, and to opt out of certain processing activities such as targeted advertising and the sale of personal data. 9.8 Nevada
Nevada residents may opt out of the sale of personal information under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A by submitting a request to hello@claudehome.com. Note that we do not currently sell personal information as defined under Nevada law.
10. International Privacy Rights
10.1 European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR, including:
- Right of access (Article 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Article 16)
- Right to erasure / right to be forgotten (Article 17)
- Right to restriction of processing (Article 18)
- Right to data portability (Article 20)
- Right to object to processing (Article 21), including to direct marketing at any time
- Rights related to automated decision-making and profiling (Article 22)

We endeavor to respond to verifiable requests within 30 days (extendable by a further 60 days for complex requests, with notice). We do not charge a fee for reasonable requests.
10.2 Canada (PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25)
Canadian residents have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for Quebec residents, Act 25 (Law 25) modernizing privacy legislation. These rights include the right to access and correct personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent to certain processing activities. Quebec residents additionally have the right to data portability and the right to be de-indexed.

10.3 Australia
If you are located in Australia, Claude Home handles your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). You have the right to access and correct personal information we hold about you. You may lodge a complaint with us at hello@claudehome.com, and if unsatisfied with our response, with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
10.4 Brazil (LGPD)
If you are located in Brazil, we process your personal information in compliance with the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD). You have rights to access, correct, delete, port, and obtain information about the use of your personal data. You may also object to and confirm the existence of processing. Submit requests to hello@claudehome.com. Unresolved complaints may be directed to the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (anpd.gov.br).
11. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 where required by applicable law, including certain EU member states under GDPR). If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child below the applicable age threshold without verifiable parental consent, we will take prompt steps to delete such information.

12. Dropshipping and Supplier Data Sharing
When you purchase a product that Claude Home fulfills through a third-party dropshipping supplier or independent studio, we share your order information (including name, delivery address, and product details) with that supplier solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order. We do not share payment card details with dropshipping suppliers.
Dropshipping suppliers are independent businesses and may have their own privacy policies governing their handling of order data. Claude Home is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party suppliers. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any supplier whose products you purchase.
For products designed and manufactured by Claude Home, we serve as the sole data controller and handle all fulfillment and customer data internally.
13. Third-Party Websites and Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, social media platforms, and external services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any external websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Claude Home reserves the right to update, modify, or replace this Privacy Policy at any time and at our sole discretion, without prior notice to you. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to our website. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will reflect when the most recent revision was made.
Your continued access to or use of our website or services after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically to stay informed of any updates. If you do not agree to the revised policy, you should discontinue use of our website and services.
We are not obligated to notify you of changes through any specific channel, including email, push notification, or in-app alert, except where expressly required by applicable law. Even where notice is legally required, such notice does not delay the effectiveness of the updated policy beyond its posted date.
