Suspended with remarkable lightness, this handcrafted cast-aluminum linear pendant gives a dining table or kitchen island a long, luminous horizon whose irregular surface keeps the room from feeling overly polished. Its beauty comes from the casting process itself, where small ripples, pits and variations preserve evidence of the hand-shaped mold and ensure that no two pieces resolve in exactly the same way. From a distance the pendant is spare and finely drawn, but closer inspection reveals a much richer surface, allowing it to bring craft and character into interiors that favor simplicity.
