An Austrian Secessionist stool dating to circa 1910, restored and reupholstered by FORME.
The structure is executed in solid walnut, defined by a clear geometric framework softened by gently flared legs. The proportions are balanced and architectural, with connecting stretchers reinforcing the form.
The seat has been reupholstered in a melange bouclé fabric by Dedar, introducing a tactile contrast to the wood. The texture adds softness while maintaining the clarity of the original design.
The underside retains the original spring system and label.
A piece that combines early 20th-century design with a contemporary material sensibility.
