Features
Features
• Constructed in three separate parts, base, sphere, and body, each blown individually and then joined seamlessly by a master glassblower and two dedicated artisans working in Murano
• The ocean-inspired silhouette translates the fluid, organic movement of waves into a sculptural glass form with a softness and tactility that makes it as satisfying to hold as it is to look at
• Named in honor of Karen Blixen, drawing on a shared reverence for craft, storytelling, and the kind of timeless formal elegance that belongs to no single era or moment
• Handmade in Murano within a glassmaking tradition unbroken since the 13th century, making every vase a continuation of one of the world's most significant and closely guarded craft lineages
• Entirely resolved as a standalone sculptural object, requiring no flowers or arrangement to justify its presence on a shelf, a table, or anywhere else it chooses to sit
• Mouth-blown and handmade Bohemian glassware

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
• The Karen Blixen vase is not dishwasher friendly, it needs to be cleaned by hand. The vase is not suitable for hot water.
• Given that each Akua piece is handcrafted, delicate handling is essential for their preservation. To ensure the longevity and pristine condition of your Akua glassware, please adhere to the following care instructions.
(1) Hand-wash each piece of glassware individually with warm water and a small amount of mild detergent. Use a soft sponge and gentle cleanser to avoid scratches. To avoid detergent residues, rinse the glasses thoroughly with clear water.
(2) Dry glassware promptly after washing to prevent calcium deposits. Gently use large microfiber cloths to dry the glass, avoiding excessive pressure to prevent breakage. Use the cloth to gently clean fingerprints from the outside of the glass.
(3) Use soft and dry microfiber cloths to polish the glass. Avoid applying excessive pressure or twisting parts si-multaneously, as this may cause the stem to break. Gently run the cloth along the outside to remove fingerprints.
