Wood Finish Walnut Oak

Broad drawer fronts and a low, lifted stance give this compact Danish modern bedside cabinet the ease of a piece designed around the rituals of sleeping, dressing and starting the day. The circular finger pull interrupts the grain with one precise detail, making the front immediately recognizable while keeping hardware out of sight. Enough storage sits within reach for books, glasses and smaller essentials, and the slender legs leave the floor visible beneath. Kai Kristiansen designed the piece in 1956, and the current small-batch Danish production preserves its appealing balance of useful storage and elegant restraint.
A Design by Dagmar.
