A rare Murano glass vase designed by Ercole Barovier for Barovier & Toso in 1938, from the "a mugnoni" series.

The form is defined by a tall cylindrical volume in thick glass, animated by applied mugnoni - solid, organic protrusions distributed across the surface. Each element is individually formed, creating a tactile and rhythmic composition.

The glass shows a subtle straw-toned patina, particularly visible along the rim and around the applied elements, characteristic of early Murano production.

The rim is slightly irregular, emphasizing the hand-finished quality, while the base reveals the density and depth of the material. Light interacts with the surface through reflections and refractions, accentuating the relief and transparency of the glass.

A sculptural object that reflects Barovier's exploration of texture and form.
