The juxtaposition of solid timber and fluted metal perfectly encapsulates the themes of the Flood floor lamp from artist and designer Curtis Bloxsidge. Its imposing structure emphasizes verticality, while the burnt and oiled red timber block adds gravitas tot surrounding decor. A shade of fluted brass is waxed and aged, adding to the almost authentically ancient look and feel of this sculptural piece.
