Originally conceived for the Midway Gardens in Chicago in 1914, this dining set captures Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural language in an early Cassina production comprising four Model 603 chairs and a matching table. Slender iron rod frames trace a rhythm of clarity and structure, finished in a rare light blue lacquer that lends the ensemble distinctive character. Grey suede padding softens the seats without disturbing the discipline of the geometry, while the metal surfaces carry an age related patina that speaks honestly to decades of use. A rare early edition of one of Wright's most enduring designs, where architecture and furniture meet on equal terms.
