Vintage floor lamp in mulberry paper and steel, the Akari 32N by Isamu Noguchi, made in Japan in 1960. A tall lantern of ribbed, softly creased paper rises on a slim dark stem from a rounded dark base. Lit, the paper glows evenly and its folds read as fine horizontal lines. Tall and slender, the lamp suits the corner of a living room, a bedroom or a hallway.
