The Karu Chair is a sheepskin armchair with rounded arms and a softly winged back, a new edition of a design first produced in Finland by Haimi Oy in the early 1950s. Dagmar builds it on a solid beech frame using traditional joinery, with a fully sprung seat and feet in European oak or American walnut. It is upholstered in genuine Australian sheepskin, in Pierre Frey Teddy mohair velvet, or in a fabric of your choosing. At 31.5 inches wide, it suits a bedroom corner, a reading spot by a window, or a pair set across from a sofa.

Care

• Dust hard surfaces with a soft, dry cloth and vacuum upholstery on a low setting. Avoid solvents, household cleaners and anything abrasive. Blot spills straight away rather than rubbing them, and use a professional cleaner to repair or remove significant marks.
