The piece is carved from a single block of black marble, defined by a circular form with a deeply recessed center. The thick, rounded edge gives the object a strong architectural presence, balancing mass and proportion.
The surface is marked by natural white veining that runs across the dark ground, creating a dynamic contrast. The interior basin has a softer, more matte finish, adding a subtle variation in texture.
The underside reveals concentric tooling marks and retains traces of the original "Up & Up" label.
