Llama Damero I Bed Quilt

An exotic proclamation. This bedspread is handwoven on a loom by master weavers. Ancestral techniques and a serene, rural setting converge in its creation, imbuing it with a special aura that transcends its materiality. Its composition is 100% pure, undyed llama wool. Its color is natural to the llamas in the area. These camelids are raised in the mountains of northern Argentina, almost 4,000 meters above sea level, in a dreamlike natural setting. Only indigenous rural communities live in these remote valleys and hillsides, and the llamas are raised following ancient herding techniques. Its texture is carded; a special finish gives it a soft, silky leather effect.

Customization:

• Custom Sizes upon Request.
• Can be customized with short fringes, plain finish, chain stitching.
• Bedspread Sizes: Our standard King size is 3.53 x 3.15 meters and Queen size is 2.80 x 2.90 meters. We also custom-make bedspreads based on the specific size of each bed and the desired drape: either full, barely touching the floor, or clean inside the bed.
• Set Design: It is also possible to order a custom set design that includes our pillows in different llama fabric options, as well as our bed curtains.

• Our exclusive llama wool comes from native farming communities living high in the mountains of northern Argentina, in a dreamlike natural setting. These communities have dedicated their lives to caring for their animals for hundreds of years, making it their primary economic activity.
• Llama fiber stands out for its softness and natural sheen.
• Naturally repels stains and liquids. Unlike other natural fibers, such as linen or cotton, virgin llama wool is naturally water-resistant, making it easier to clean and maintain.
• Eco-friendly and fully biodegradable.
• Natural temperature regulator and thermal insulator.
• Fire-resistant: virgin llama wool does not produce flames and is self-extinguishing.
