"Lotus" Opalescent Murano Glass Table Lamp by Carlo Nason for V.Nason & C.

A sculptural table lamp designed by Carlo Nason for V. Nason & C., Murano. The "Lotus" model is composed of layered opalescent glass elements arranged in concentric tiers, forming a luminous structure reminiscent of a lotus flower in bloom.

Each translucent ring expands outward in soft, rounded layers, creating a balanced architectural silhouette. When illuminated, the opaline Murano glass gently diffuses the light source, transforming the central bulb into a warm, atmospheric glow that radiates through the stacked glass elements.

Resting on a dark circular base that visually anchors the composition, the lamp balances sculptural presence with soft ambient illumination.

Carlo Nason, active on Murano since the 1960s, is known for his refined modernist approach to glass design. The Lotus lamp is a striking example of late 20th-century Murano lighting, where technical precision meets poetic light diffusion.

This example comes from warehouse stock of later production and remains in excellent condition, virtually unused. The lamp retains its original "V. Nason & C. Murano Italy" label.
