Vintage sculptural rocking chair in tree root, made in Finland in 1920 by Matti Savijärvi in the Arts and Crafts manner. Branches and roots are joined into a loose, open frame, with a flat seat set between the arms and two long curved runners below. Every limb keeps its bark and knots, so no two parts match. Compact in scale, it suits a reading corner, a hallway or a bedroom.
