A rare pair of wall lights model 1937 designed by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte in 1958.

Each sconce is composed of thick glass panels with a subtle bluish tone, finished with polished edges and satin inner surfaces. The glass is mounted on a blackened metal structure, held by patinated brass clips that introduce a warm contrast to the restrained palette.

The internal arrangement features three vertically aligned light sources, creating a layered diffusion. When illuminated, the frosted surfaces soften the light while the polished edges refract it, producing a gentle halo effect against the wall.

The metal structure retains visible signs of age, including oxidation and traces of paint, while the brass elements show a natural patina. The original Fontana Arte label is present.

A refined example of Ingrand's work, where glass and light are resolved into a balanced architectural composition.
