Morning by the Lake by Aimée Adriaansen

A cool expanse of water opens beneath low green hills in this soft green lakeside landscape artwork, bringing the calm of an early morning shoreline into a living room, bedroom or hallway. The scene is built from broad softened areas of green, gray and pale blue, allowing the water and distant land to merge gradually instead of separating into hard edges. Reflections along the waterline add a second layer to the landscape, extending the surrounding trees downward and making the scene feel broader than the frame itself. Its beauty comes from atmosphere more than detail, capturing the cool stillness of a lake before the day's busyness sets in.
