A round coffee table designed by Nicolay Diulgheroff, dating to the 1950s.
The structure is defined by a circular frame in wood, housing a glass top. The transparency of the surface allows the base to remain fully visible, emphasizing the composition.
The base is composed of four slender legs connected by intersecting stretchers that meet at the center, forming a precise cross-shaped junction. The structure combines clarity and movement, balancing geometric rigor with fluid lines.
The wood has been refinished in a semi-matte black lacquer, softening reflections while enhancing the silhouette.
A sculptural piece where structure and form are resolved into a coherent architectural gesture.
