A rare example of 1960s Finnish craftsmanship, this solid pine bench by Olavi Hänninen balances organic shaping with beautifully minimal construction. A gently sculpted backrest, slightly tapered legs and hand-finished details let the natural grain take center stage, softened by a lovely age patina. It has a strong architectural presence that still feels warm and understated. Use it as dining seating, in a hallway or as a standalone sculptural piece, at home in both modern and rustic interiors.
A Design by Malata Antwerp.
