Soft and ethereal, it captivates with its simple and delicate beauty. This llama bedquilt is hand-woven in looms by master weavers. Ancient techniques find a fresh new approach within these serene rural landscapes and combined, grant this textile a vibrant aura that projects beyond its materiality. It's a unique piece handmade using pure non-dyed llama wool. Its texture is distinctly light and smooth. These camelids are raised in the mountains, in the north of Argentina, at almost 4,000 meters above sea level, in a dreamy natural setting. In these remote valleys and slopes, only native farming communities live, and the llamas are raised following ancient herding techniques.

Customization:

  • Custom Sizes upon Request. 
  • Can be customized with short fringes, plain finish, chain stitching.
  • Bedquilt Sizes: Our standard King size is 11'7" x 10'4" and Queen 9'2" x 9'6" . We also make them in any size upon request based on the size of each specific bed and the desired fit, being it oversized, minimal (just touching the floor) or clean cut for a tucked in look.
  • Designing a bedding set: It's also possible to commission a custom bedding set, with specific pillow combinations in an assortment of llama fabrics as well as llama bed curtains.

  • Our exclusive llama wool comes from native farming communities living high in the mountains of northern Argentina, in a dreamlike natural setting. These communities have dedicated their lives to caring for their animals for hundreds of years, making it their primary economic activity.

  • Naturally repels stains and liquids. Unlike other natural fibers, such as linen or cotton, virgin llama wool is naturally water-resistant, making it easier to clean and maintain.
  • Eco-friendly and fully biodegradable.

  • Fire-resistant: virgin llama wool does not produce flames and is self-extinguishing.
