Archimede Seguso's experimental spirit runs through this pair of wall sconces, made for Seguso Vetri d'Arte in Murano during the 1940s. Deeply hammered surfaces give each smoke-amber glass shade real optical depth, while an iridescent finish shifts gently between gold, pink, violet, and turquoise as the light changes. Burnished brass supports stay deliberately minimal, letting the handcrafted glass hold the eye, and once lit, the textured shades release a soft, atmospheric glow. Each piece carries the slight irregularities of true hand-blown Murano work, giving the pair individual character without disturbing their harmony.
