Exceptionally rare, this set of two vintage wall sconces are designed by Carlo Scarpa for Venini and date to the 1930s, offering bespoke artistry with seashell diffusers. They're crafted in the celebrated Reticello technique of Murano glassmaking, offering a delicate lattice that creates artistry, depth and rich textural allure. Reflecting early Venetian modernism, the pair features and exceptionally discreet mounting system with original brass fittings and backplates.

• Condition: Good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use, with minor losses. One diffuser retains a small manufacturing adjustment characteristic of hand-blown production, while the second presents a very minor chip visible only upon close inspection. Original brass elements retain a beautiful age-related patina. Professional inspection and rewiring are recommended according to contemporary local electrical standards.
