This contemporary rug presents a sophisticated design of abstract verticality, where broad bands of beige-brown tones create a compelling interplay of positive and negative space - where striated elements emerge and recede against solid planes with almost painterly, abstract effect. Admirers of the craft and keen eyes will also note a play of several flatweave textures together - the most present of which is an almost boucle-like weave, which sits with a natural warmth and beauty in these tones. The construction, too, is a natural choice for eco-conscious designers seeking a sustainable, yet also durable choice. This piece is a green-friendly weave with an expressive, yet comfortable beauty in its use of earth tones and light, refreshing hues.
