Four Sigma fixtures, designed by Sergio Mazza for Artemide in the 1960s, come together here in a set defined by pure circular geometry and substantial molded pressed glass diffusers with a finely worked radial pattern. Illuminated, each disc produces a striking sunburst effect that shifts with the angle of view, framed by nickel-plated brass surrounds and four cylindrical retaining pins that quietly expose the construction. Internal reflectors ensure even, glare-free light whether the fixtures are mounted on ceiling or wall. Arranged as a symmetrical grid, aligned along a corridor, or grouped in pairs, the set offers considerable architectural flexibility while remaining true to Mazza's defining language for Artemide.
