Size
Noble, silky and elegant, this rug is hand-woven in looms by master weavers. Ancient techniques find a fresh new approach within these serene rural landscapes and combined, grant this textile a vibrant aura that projects beyond its materiality. It's a unique piece handmade using pure hand-spun and hand-dyed sheep wool of the Carded type. A beautiful natural hand-dyed color graces its texture. It's color is obtained using tree resin. Woven with our Carded Wool, it captivates with its sophisticated luster. It portrays a uniform and solid color. Our Medium texture is very soft with a subtle thickness of 0.25". Both sides of the rug are equal and could be placed facing up.

Wool Properties:
Our carded wool is specially processed to maximize its softness, brightness and uniformity. Unlike our criolla wool, which is only subjected to a very manual process, carded wool is intervened in a deeper and more mechanical way to enhance other qualities of wool. Its most distinctive visual feature is its luster and silkiness. Our rugs woven with this type of wool have a full and uniform tone without shades and overtones.
Additionally, sheep wool has many natural properties such as:
Stain resistant: wool is naturally water repellent, which means that it also repels stains and liquids, facilitating its cleaning and maintenance.
Eco friendly
Natural insulator and temperature regulator.
Flame proof: wool does not set on fire, it will eventually burn down if in a large fire but it won't generate flames.

It's very important not to use any chemical product or stain removers since it might ruin the fiber and color.
